Giovanni`s in Taylorsville

The food is always good. People are very nice. Sometimes they get your order wrong. They did mine this past week.

Good food a bit pricey though

Food is excellent. Staff will have your call-in ready to eat there when you arrive. Excellent for folks who have a tight lunch schedule.

We ordered take-out: a large cheese pizza and chef salad. Very good. The sanitation score was kind of low, which is why I give 4 instead of 5 stars.This is actually the first time we have ever eaten here. I wanted to go get some pizza for my family and I here because I remembered how good it was back when i was in school and we had the pizza parties. I loved it. My kids loved it too, and my 11 year old son hates pizza, so they have good food.We all loved the salad too.Next time, we will eat in.

Giovanni's never fails to please! Serving sizes are plentiful and the service is great. Prices are reasonable.

Food is excellent though many time messily put together. They could work on presentation a bit, but with a taste that good it's easy to overlook. Also, how many business owners do you know who would take a 12 hr drive just to make sure they have the supplies they need to serve their customers? That's dedication! These guys are also known to give back to the community. Wonderful owners and good food. I couldn't ask for much more.

Dining room is still closed. Take out is through the drive thru. Always has great food!

The service was good but I found the food subpar. The pizza slices were cut too small and they used WAY too much tomato sauce

I have eat here before. I highly recommend it. I live her an to me this is one of the best places to eat around here. It doesn't Costa lot. If you are visiting please give it a try.

Great food and great prices. Small area for eating and it gets very crowded so u might have a wait.

Although all the selections are good, my favorite is the pizza. They put the toppings under the cheese. Very tasty. It's a busy place, so you might want to take an early or late lunch. They do have convenient drive-thru service, too.

We ordered a medium Giovanni's special mushrooms only on half well done,when out pizza came it was not cut but on one side, waitress took it back to get it sliced returned upon realizing it was plain on one side and mushroom on other no other topping ask waitress why was this made this way she said you ordered it that way no Mam I didn't I told her you misunderstood me she said I'm sorry and ignored us the rest of the time we were there we didn't like it at all we decided to leave I had to go to register for go box, refills, and paid we also had lasagna it was delicious as always we love Giovanni's but was very disappointed that we got stuck with pizza that she ordered wrong and ignored us the rest of our visit

GREAT food with great service!

The outside doesn't look like much, but the inside....WOW!!! Warm, welcoming, inviting! And I'm not just talking about the decor! The staff was friendly, courteous, and patience. The young lady who took our order made the BEST suggestion--their speciality pizza is AMAZING!!! The lasagne was off the hook!! The phone rang off the hook and by the time we left, there was a line of cars around the building!! But no one, including myself, had to wait an ungodly amount of time. We will most definitely be back!!! Highly recommend!!! One of the most underrated restaurants!!! Please, get the word out!! Great place to go for superb take-out Italian food!!!

Excellent place to eat. Food is always good. Place is small only about 16 or 20 tables and there can be a wait sometimes. But so very well worth it.

I love to order out from here. They have great prices with quality food. And enough for the average couple. I love to get their lasagna, it comes with garlic bread! It is delicious. They also have salads and pizza plus lots of other great things for dinner.

Giovanni’s pizza is so good, I’ve given up on other pizza brands. This includes any from the frozen section at the store as well as any brand name chain you’d see in any town! I can’t waste money on places that are only a minutes drive for me after tasting the masterpieces coming from under Giovanni’s roof. I drive an hour total to tend to my pizza needs anymore. Devotion is one thing and madness is quite another. Figuring out which this is for me is only half the fun, because I’ll be eating a slice of their pie with mushrooms, onions, and pepperonis on top!!!!

The pizza was good. Very small dining room and it was very busy, a testament to their good food and good service.

Great pizza very good service. Even though we walked in 15 min. Before closing time on a Saturday night. Everyone was still very friendly.

The pizza and salad I ordered were absolutely delicious. I ate with several members of my church family and their food looked really good also. The restaurant was clean, and the waitress was really good. She came to check to see if everything was alright or if we needed anything extra several times. This was a superb dining experience, and I will return.

Best cheese pizza around

Oddly enough I have never tried their pizza here. I love their meatball subs. My sister raves about the steak subs. I like their lasagna. Oh and of course the cheesecake is really yummy. The restaurant itself is nice and clean. Is a place I would happily take a date. The tea is really good too. They have tables and chairs, so if need be you can park a wheelchair here with no problem. The bathrooms are clean and gender specific. All around nice place to eat. They also have a drive thru.
